Welcome to The Rail Heritage Trust of New Zealand. The Trust was established as an independent CharitableTrust in 1991.

RHTNZ originated in response to concerns that significant buildings, structures and relics would be lost without those involved appreciating their value as part of New Zealand’s rail and general heritage, or giving consideration to options for their conservation.
